Nesters

Hi Everyone:

Just wanted to share this card that I made for my close friend Yulia who is from Russia. It was her birthday yesterday and I knew that she would so love these Nesting Dolls. She had these has a child and is really fond of  them. Her sister came to Canada for Christmas a couple years ago and brought me back a set as well. So when I saw this Stamp set I knew I just had to make a card with them. Thanks Lisa for designing such a beautiful set of digital stamps. Check out Lisa Lara at her blog. You can find it in the Clear Dollar Stamps store.

Here is my card that I made using these images. Each image was paper pieced and than shaded with Staedtler Watercolour Pencils.

Here is a close up of the paper piecing and shading around all of the clothing on each individual doll. Love how this turned out. Such a great way to get rid of scraps.

This is simply gorgeous Dana. Your friend will just love it, I'm sure. I love they way you have added the lines on the images, that really finishes them beautifully.

These little dolls are so sweet and I LOVE your colouring and paper piecing on them. Beautiful work. You are such an artist!
Hope you are doing well and enjoying the holiday season. We never did have a chance to get together this fall. We will have to try over the winter. :)
